FPV UK is a not for profit association of hobbyist radio control model aircraft pilots who enjoy flying their aircraft using small video cameras mounted on their aircraft and video goggles to see the view from the camera. This first person view gives the impression of actually sitting inside the cockpit of the aircraft and adds a whole new exciting and enjoyable branch to an existing hobby.

1)	To promote the safe enjoyment of First Person View model flying
2)	To represent FPV model flyers in discussions with other bodies (specifically the CAA and Ofcom)
3)	To cover members with £5m 3rd party liability insurance

FPV UK works with the regulator for UK aviation, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), on matters pertaining to FPV and recreational model flying.
