I surgest you get this Title as its been designed for FPV simulation plus u can down load you flying field saturlite image and use it in the simulator.

using this simulator I ahve not crashed my real FPV plane

I also cant fly my plane 3D and have no interest in doing so.

but the simulator allows you to fly 3d or fpv even with fitted OSD read out
plus you get a usb dongle for you rc controller
check it out

AeroSIM RC simulator has special features that make it useful for FVP (Video flying) training.

1. You can fly using the FVP pilots viewpoint in addition to the more normal ground based viewpoint, most simulators cannot do this.

2. The Track R2 Gyro headtracker can be used with this simulator allowing you to look round as you fly.
If you use goggles you may need a converter to change the computer video format to one compatible with the goggles.

3. You can put your own flying field into it using google maps – This may not be to easy?

It is useful for giving you a feel for flying and navigation.
Hopefully it will prevent the problem where you pull the goggles off and look around for your model and it is nowhere to be seen.

A better way if you can is to have a friend who can tell you what you are doing wrong and point the model out when the goggles come off. Preferably before it has gone to far.

I have an AeroSIM RC simulator That I no longer use. It can be had for £30  ½ price.
Its adaptor is to plug into the TrackR2 though adaptors that plug into the transmitters are available, try firstpersonview.co.uk
My lead is an early version and it has been modified so a 9.6volt battery can be used to power the Head tracker.

I understand that the scenario generator (which was previously virtually impossible to understand) has now been completely rewritten and built into the simulator.  It is apparently extremely easy to use now.  I haven't been able to try it yet.

All the best
