I've had the same Skywalker for FPV for two years now. It's had 6 new wings, 3 new canopies and 2 new fuselages.

Almost seems a shame that only 1 of these actually has anything flying in it, the rest all just being fancy ways to display the website address...
Nobody really knows what FPV is, and even a lot of RC flyers dont know what FPV is, so maybe something a little more obvious might be needed?

They all look good, dont get me wrong guv, the quality is definately there, but the messege/meaning is missing from all but 1 :-(

But the video itself will be of FPV flying, this is just the 2 second intro to show that the video is from a member of this forum/ association.

For example on this video:
OFF THE RAILS 5.0. CABLE WAKEBOARDING. NEW SHEFFIELD CABLE ROOF TOP RAIL. Adam Walker
Its clearly a wakeboarding video, but before it kicks off he's got a couple of logos that show on screen (his sponsors presumably).

All the best

I dont think the intro really has any need to be linked to the flying. The user has already clicked on play to watch the video before they have ever seen the intro so the decission to watch it has already been made.

The reason for watching the video is nomally one of 3 things :

The title of the video - In the case of trawling through youtube and none flying related sights.

Thumbnail of the video - This would if a good choice is made enable a user to see a freeze frame of what to expect in the video

Where the video is embedded in posts / threads - Should make the subject content obvious to what the user will see

By the time the user gets to the intro they have decided what the video is about, or has an informed opinion of whats in it before the intro has ever played

But Rich, i know what you mean, tae the flitetest intro on youtube, its excellent, it shows you exactly what its about and what to expect. With our members videos though, you never really do know what to expect lol :)

FliteTest intro is too long for YouTube if you ask me. They cut it in half but it's still too long - if it were a TV show (which I think it probably will be in the future) then yea but on YouTube? ... it takes ages which sucks if you're watching their vids one after the other.

I just skip 17 seconds in, but yeah they had a few complaints about its over necessary length originally. An intro like that is cool though, but the equipment they use is a bit out of our reach

Well as I like them short and sweet I went for the shortest one :)

I liked the one in the front of your recent snow vid Ian, but it was just a little bit too long.  Looked good though :)
