Surf's up
« on: February 17, 2012, 04:52:58 PM »

Hi all,
I went out yesterday with my family and took my little mint fox, it was to windy to fly at St Ives, but a little better at Sennen cove, it was a bit blowy for the little plane and I have a bit of a crash for you, when I tried to fly under the life bout slip, but as soon as I went anywhere close to the ground, it was all over the place, no damage to the tuff little Fox, I got quite close to the surf, but the turbulent was just to risky to go any lower.
there was two or three hand gliders around, with the inshore wind, so In couldn't venture to hi.
I'm looking forward to the summer and I will go back.
 :) G

thanks guys, its a little plane, but dose the job nicely.
I won't to get in closer to the surf really, I need a storm to whip up the surf, then drop quickly to give me a window to fly as a surfers view.

Great stuff as usual G.

I notice your Fox gets a bit of that side-to-side-wibble-wobble thing as well.  Mine's the same  :Dumbfolded:

Thanks Nigel.
I think it was the wind and turbulents that day, it was pretty blowy, it was flying sideways most of the time.
